Child Development Center
The Mother’s Day Out Program
is designed and initiated by our church to provide a safe and happy place for children to go while mothers have some time away. It is an opportunity for our church to minister to children and families in our community.
The Child Development Center exists to assist parents in their important responsibility of molding and guiding their children as they grow and develop. The Center joins with parents to provide foundational teaching on which later development is built. We believe that children are a precious gift from God, and entrusted to us to love and teach.
We recognize that children learn and develop faster during these first years than at any other time during the life span. It is our goal to make these first experiences at learning safe, fun, and happy times. We strive to develop the whole child by providing opportunities for them to develop mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Our curriculum is the Southern Baptist Wee Learn Curriculum. The curriculum introduces the children to different unit studies with learning through play. We provide these opportunities throughout the day with:

GROUP LIVING
planning, working, and playing in an organized manner so that desirable habits and attitudes of independence and responsibility are formed.
CREATIVE ACTIVITIES
self-expression is encouraged through the use of paints, play dough, crayons, manual tools, and other materials.
LANGUAGE AND MATH EXPERIENCES
through the use of stories, conversations, games, and puzzles, your child will grow in knowledge and understanding of basic concepts.
RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCES
Bible thoughts, concepts, and Bible related activities will be interwoven throughout the day in natural settings that will be meaningful to your child on his or her level of understanding.
Classes: Fairview Baptist Church offers classes for children 1 year old by September 1st through 4 year olds. Our classes meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am until 2:00pm. Classes begin in August and end in May. We do not operate during the summer months.
