March 22, 23 & 24

This year marks 39 years of telling the Gospel story through our annual Easter production entitled, Living Pictures.  Literally thousands of people have come through the doors of Fairview Baptist Church to see and experience the story of Jesus played out on the stage.  Each year we tell the story from a different perspective.  This year, we will tell the story through the eyes of Nicodemus (a Pharisee and member of the Sanhedrin).  Through a brand new script and musical score, you will experience the last week of Jesus’ life on earth: his ministry, miracles, triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the last supper, arrest in the garden of gethsemane, trial before Pilate, brutal crucifixion, burial and glorious resurrection and his ascension into heaven.  Don’t miss what promises to be a moving and inspirational worship service!   This event is FREE, Family Friendly and open to the public.  Doors will open 30 min prior to the start time.  We hope to see you and your family at Living Pictures 2024!

Fairview Baptist Church Vacation Bible School 2024- Breaker Rock Beach

GOD’S ROCK-SOLID TRUTH IN A WORLD OF SHIFTING SANDS

Get ready for a week of adventure at Breaker Rock Beach where kids will learn that God’s truth never changes! As they fly kites in the misty seaside air, explore tide pools, and spot orcas and sea lions, kids will be challenged to recognize the difference between the lies(or half-truths) of culture and God’s unchanging truth. They will discover that God wants to transform then by the renewing of their minds.

THEME VERSE: “Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2

MOTTO: God’s truth never changes!

VBS is for Kindergarteners-5th grade and is from 8:30 -11:45 a.m. Monday- Friday.

Children’s Camp at Central Hills.

Central Hills offers a wide range of camp activities. They include swimming, canoeing, .22 caliber rifles, archery, crafts, horse-back riding, field sports, gym sports, miniature golf, high and low ropes course, hiking, four-square and tether ball.

Each morning at camp begins with a flag-raising ceremony and morning devotion. After breakfast, we have a Bible study. Prior to lunch, we have missionaries share about their endeavors while challenging the campers to be more personally involved in missions. Each evening we have a worship service led by our camp pastor. Each counselor leads their group of campers in a bed-time devotional and each activity instructor shares a spiritual application at the end of each activity.
